We have been working in France for several years following many years in the electrical and security industries in England. The French electrical regulations are complex for those not used to working on electrical installations in Britain and who are not conversant with the numerous calculations, etc., that are required, or indeed for those who cannot read French.

Assistance can be obtained from publications marketed and printed in English, but most are out of date as the regulations changed at the end of 2002 and were implemented in the summer of 2003.
